Thread: Winter Transfer Window..?

  1. #1

    Question Winter Transfer Window..?

Who should go and where do we need to strengthen?

Bit early for me this one BT. I think we need to go with the flow for maybe 6 weeks and see how players are shaping up. 2 games down the line and we won one convincingly and almost sneaked something at Arsenal if it were not for two errors and fine goalkeeping by Nick. There's one or two that need to shape up and I really would like to see Drinkwater in action. We have two hard-workers in Westwood and Cork midfield but are missing a bit of bite. If Drinkwater brings that to our game which we have been sorely missing with Defour's situation, then he could make all the difference in games like yesterday. You never know we could even persuade him to stay after January if he does the job.

That's the difference between you and me sinkov, you think on the same level as Mike Rigg, me I'm more pro-active like SD...

See my post in Summer Transfer Window thread re: Tom Davies.

Tom Davies at Everton would be a good shout IMHO...

Don't get your hopes up guys and girls on a £20 million midfielder, SD on Bolton and Bury's financial plight, "the demand from fans and boards on managers to be successful while not throwing everything at it so the clubs end up in trouble.
It is a fine balance, there is a big demand from fans of all clubs to be successful and you understand why but there has to be a balance and a model of the club that can sustain it to at least make sure it does not fall into real trouble.

Clubs that go into Admin have clearly got that balance wrong. Clubs that make £58 million profit over two seasons have the balance wrong as well.
