    Yesterday and Dunfermline

At Dunfermline we were honking with a back 5 (call it a 3 all day if you like it's a 5), and made a real difference going to a back 4 second half.

Yesterday we were battering Aberdeen for 85 minutes but reacted to clearing one off the line by bringing on Meekings and going to a back 5 to see the game out, though all it did was invite Aberdeen to lob it into Cosgrove which eventually paid dividends for them.

Why do managers, not just ours, think the best way to see out a slender lead is to camp in your own box and hope you clear everything lobbed in when most people know that teams who are desperate for a goal start lobbing it in to the box as their best option with a few minutes to go?

We were camped in their half, totally controlling the game. This wasn't unlucky we just gave them the option to come at us, one they hadn't managed for themselves most of the game.

Overall a very good performance in the 90 minutes but by suicide tactics with 5 minutes to go we don't allow ourselves an opportunity to attack in the extra time. We got to learn from this.

If you read McPakes comments today he said if he had more options on the bench he wouldn’t have had to bring a CB on. That’s why he wants to sign McPake from Rangers.

He didn't have to bring on Meekings as we weren't under any real pressure, not until Todd was removed and their LB started getting forward. He'd been anonymous until that point. At least the manager has kinda admitted his mistake, more than the previous managers ever did. Still, at least we weren't humiliated, leaving that to others this year thank phukk

    Loads of positives yesterday.

Hamilton had a good game, got under 1 cross but confidence is growing.

Forster turning into a real cult figure.

    Midfield 3 were excellent together.

Mcdaid had another good game, Todd worked hard and top marks to Danny Johnson, gave their defence a torrid time.
