    Oh so quiet...

    ... from our new owners.

And it's so bloody refreshing. No bickering with them on here, no twitter spats, no inappropriate photos, no rows on the mailing list (well I assume not, haven't been on there for ages), just quietly working in the background.

I have a feeling that Ardley will thrive in the new environment, he's always struck me as a manager who builds things slowly and steadily, rather than your Martin Allen troubleshooter type.

Long may it continue. When you look at Bury and Bolton, it becomes clear how close we came to oblivion. Again.

Not hearing anything from them could mean they are exhausted despite their young age

I said the same to my mate as we were walking to the ground on Sunday. It's just how club owners should be - blending into the background, providing the funding where available / necessary, sanctioning signings, letting the Manager and his Assistant manage team affairs and the media team release professional comms through the official channels. They, and the other Exec from Football Radar will no doubt be doing the 'scouting' using their own specialist methods and recommending new signings. It will then be the Managers job to mobilise these players into an organised and motivated unit.

Everything already seems so much more professional and I like it. Long may it continue!

Couldn’t agree more. As much as I have doubted NA I have always wanted him to be a success for us. Hopefully the new regime is creating an environment that allows him to thrive as a manager. Wouldn't it be great if over the coming years we find ourselves back in the league and competitive with both NA and our new owners still at the helm.

I fully believe that your club are in for much better days in the future. As you may know I've got almost zero knowledge of your club and your players, but it definately seems that Neal Ardley and the squad are beginning to understand each other.

The quiet boys are the guys that says yes or no behind closed doors and windows, and I am absolutely sure NA and the quiet one's are cooperating very well on matters of newcomers and outgoers.

This will only get better in the months to come.

I disagree. It’s a disgrace the new lads haven’t taken to Twitter to explain the total cock up with the online ticketing system.

Because it wouldn’t accept Visa my missus had to pay for our tickets. And she doesn’t even go. Hahaha.

They seem to recognise that the focus of attention should be the players and the game, which is commendable.
