A couple of promising performances, optimism beginning to increase, and now we’re playing a side that hasn’t got a single point. We’ve probably got no chance - it’s in Notts’ DNA to come crashing down in a situation like this.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Whenever we get score predictions forecasting an easy win for Notts it usually goes tits up. When I looked at the betting though, I was a bit surprised to see Ebbsfleet as favourites despite not getting a single point yet. Therefore my money has gone on a Notts win at 7/4, which is a bit more generous than I thought it would be.

I’d take a draw today if it meant a win our first home game on Monday even though Ebbsfleet are bottom of the table.
