    Devastated.....

That is how I feel at the moment.... not at the state of the club / team. I have made my peace with that, I know we are going down and have fully accepted it... it was obvious the day Rafa left.

What has me devastated, is that I no longer eat, sleep, breathe NUFC.

I always believed it was for life....

I have missed the last 20 home league games, and I am still in mourning for the love I have lost...

But i rarely feel anything other than frustration at what might have been and just shrug my shoulders and move on when we lose.

Better to have loved and lost and all that....

I stopped going after the Keegan fiasco mate and been back once since just to take a Canadian relative

I will never go back till Ashley has gone but I fear at 66 he will outlast me.

I think most of us can definitely relate to what you're saying, Mick. I'm upset because I just don't find a matchday exciting anymore. We're losing our matches these days, but that's not even bothering me. 'Cause even if we were winning it wouldn't last and eventually we'll go down and we'll come up again under Ashley so he can get his money back. It's just a circle of unambition and it's killing the club.

I just felt numb as the Norwich goals went in - not hugely p*ssed off as I did last season.

I'm surprised that FA/Sky aren't more concerned about the type of situation that we have at Newcastle. If I was pumping in so much money to something, I'd make sure it was the best and most competitive league that it could be and wouldn't let some owners just cream off the money for investing in their other businesses.

Truly, the only way out of this is by supporters' action so I salute those who've stopped going. Maybe it's a sign of the times that supporters who truly love the club will fade away in numbers and be replaced by people who just aren't that bothered - "we lost but it was a great day out and so, all round, a good weekend".

    All very sad to me.

I've said this before but, I believe the only way to see the back of Ashley is a prolonged spell in the lower divisions where the money/advertising is a fraction of what it is in the prem.

He WON'T sell a cash cow unless some mug pays way over the odds.

Think we all feel like that to a degree Mick.

Half the time, i struggle to muster the enthuasim to stay on the matchs on laptop/phone etc. Just end up looking every so often.

Even when we do well, I fully expect it to go down the pan.

Till Ashley goes the club is zombie drifting along.
