Prediction League - Torino (Europa League Playoff Round - Leg 1)

Wolves will head to Turin to take on Torino in the final round before the group stage of Europa League. They have been in Serie A for the last 7 seasons after bouncing back and forth between divisions from the mid 90s to their most recent promotion. Last season, they finished 7th, sandwiched between the two Roman clubs. They had a mixed record against the teams that finished ahead of them last season, going 3-5-4. Not bad and similar to Wolves record of 4-4-4 against the teams head of us. Their two most dangerous players are Andrea Belotti, Simone Zaza and Iago Falque. Zaza only scored four goals for Torino last year, but has already scored three in Europa League so far. Belotti leads them with four goals and has been their leading scorer for three of the last four seasons and has scored double digit league goals in all four. After back-to-back seasons with 12 goals each, Falque fell to 6 last season. In all, Torino have 8 players that have capped for their senior national team at some point in the last two seasons. They're also a fairly experienced squad. This is easily be our toughest test in European play so far and I would have rather had just about any other team left in this round than Torino. But you gotta play the teams in front of you. Just unfortunate that we drew a team that we could have just as easily faced in the knockout stage of this competition. I believe that UEFA did away with the away goals rule, so a 0-0 draw wouldn't be all that bad. I think Torino just beats us, but we will get them back at home.
