I think you are confusing what Boris says with what he does Sinkov.
Yesterday he was owned by Merkel - and agreed to find a solution to the Irish backstop within 30 days. That will be interesting.
And he has simply called for a review on HS2 - I'll bet it goes ahead. We shall see.
We have a coaltion on HS2 though - what a waste of money when they could give everyone free meat pies instead.
"3.42 in the morning and the burning injustices and sheer stupidity of this phucking Tory government is keeping me awake. Upwards of £8 billion already spunked on this nonsensical project that's ripped up the countryside and displaced hundreds of people with Compulsory Purchase Orders on their homes and property. At least another £70-80 billion needed to finish it...… and now the this inept, horrible Government thinks it's time for a review? Someone wrote "lunatic asylum" on another thread, I think we are way, way beyond that. There is a simple solution - VOTE LABOUR - FOR THE MANY NOT THE FEW."
Like I said BT, your post is incoherent, it was a Labour government project, why attack Boris for trying to put an end to the nonsense, and then advocate voting for the Party responsible for the billions being wasted and lives ruined in the first place ?
Of course I know the answer to that question don't I, it's known as Boris Derangement Syndrome.
That's an 'interesting' take on what Merkel said 59, presumably the lefty version of events, but I wouldn't know, I haven't read the Guardian or BBC on it yet. What seemed most significant to me, in my innocence, is that after months and months of the EU saying that the WA would not be re-negotiated under any circumstances, Merkel seemed to suggest that, if Boris had any bright ideas, perhaps it could. The first sign of any chink in the EU armour, the first sign of movement on the WA. Once they start to believe we ARE leaving on October 31st, they will come to their senses and start to compromise said Boris, and well, well, they are.
"Fire Station closures."
Oh dear, you really ought to get that one off your list BT. Fire Station closures were accelerating all through the period of the last Labour government, not to mention two National strikes under a Labour government.
And if you want to mention the shocking Grenfell disaster, ask on whose watch it was that the decision to only install sprinklers in new build tower blocks and not in refurbished ones like Grenfell was taken. And to save you the trouble of finding out why Labour took that decision I'll tell you, it was to save money, too expensive to extend it to refurbished blocks, money more important than lives to Labour.
The "burning injustices and sheer stupidity of this phucking Tory government" that prevented me from sleeping are homeless families being housed in converted shipping containers and their latest crackpot, outrageous scheme to have the working class stay in employment until the age of 75. If the poor sods make it that far they can then collect the outstanding sum of £160.00 a week to live on!
I have read my posts on this thread and not once have I suggested the blonde headed, over privileged, racist, misogynistic, narcistic, chauvinistic, child battering, old Etonian adulterous buffoon, is responsible for the HS2 fiasco.
The fact that countless governments have failed to sort all of the above BT seems to not phase you - am I thinking if we vote Jeremy in hell sort all of that out?
There is and always has been only one pot of money and unless people pay more taxes there won’t be any more money available as far as I can see anyway.
So many of your list are linked to each other that it will be difficult to solve anyway the NHS is a black hole that will continue eating money , in turn that’s linked to immigration- lack of doctors trained here , illegal people being treated here - families flying people in to have babies here.
All your views are admirable as no one wants to see any of those things - however somebody somewhere will suffer and pay more or have less for others to benefit , and so it goes on.
We have bred a nation of lazy lay abouts who draw of the working state at the expense of all those who do - have worked and paid in and contributed,
I reckon if you stopped dishing money to these people regardless of circumstances colour creed etc and only gave them food vouchers instead of cash for fags and 60 inch TVs etc ,and then only on the proviso they contributed to society in some way , picking litter helping elderly, doing what’s required of them.
That would sort out massive issue in our country.
The problem with Labour is you want to punish people for being successful, take more of them and give it to the exact people I refer to above , and then you wander why people won’t vote for Jeremy.
