All of the 20 Premier ranked by squad value

Surprisingly we were as high as 14th.

You could have fooled me on that one.

I'm also fairly surprised by this.

Ranked on talent we'd be bottom three.

Not just under but well under.

Now if Carling could stand the league table on it's head upside down we'd have someting to shout about.

Call me stupid if this is obvious.

We know the head coach/manager doesn't choose the new signings - Rafa had no say in Joelinton and the rest back at the start of the year and Brucie certainly didn't

Who actually decides who to go for and then recruits them?

I doubt its Ashley or Charnley scouting them then deciding in person?

    So who is it?

I believe it'll be Steve Nicolson (spelling) our chief scout?

Although i believe Bruce will tell him the kind of player he wants.

Really we need a director of football for this type of role which we don't, the chief scount with all due respect shouldn't be making those calls.

    Thanks Jammy.

How many Champions leagues and cups has he won then. Never heard of him.

Why you wouldn't trust Rafa's judgement abd experience over "Steve Nicholson" is beyond me.

I don't think they ever left they just went under the radar

Maybe Carr but i'm pretty sure that Wise did leave.

Unless he came back again and it wasn't mentioned but personally i doubt that.

Carr is an assoicate Director at Northampton, it might be a bit much to do that and a hidden DoF role.
