    0/T. Today's Test cricket....

Thoroughly enjoyed today's match irrespective of the several breaks with the rain.

Great bowling by Archer taking 6 wickets with Broad and Stokes chipping in.

    Aussies all out for 179.

Sat with the good lady watching the closing stages and Archer takes the last wicket. Quick as a flash the Wife asks. 'Was that a BMW?"

I fell about laughing as I pointed out her 'No love, it was a LBW'. . I'll take it all as a laugh as she's very tired today.

Archer has been brilliant today. Jason Roy owes us a decent knock tomorrow.

The Aussies will be praying for smith back in the 4th test.

Mrs Grist calls Archer, Jeffrey Archer.

I told her they've both had a long stretch

Think you can add Root to that as well pal.

Root is a good test match batsman ruined by too much white ball clown cricket

Well he's pulled no roots up so far, pardon the pun, and he can make all the difference tomorrow.

I think he's got the paralysis of doubt. So maybe under 20 runs.

Good performance by England today, but bowler-friendly conditions. It will be interesting to see how England manage tomorrow - the batsmen will need some patience

Need a couple of old fashioned Sir Geoffrey performances tomorrow, 200-0 at close of play will do but with our history we'll be lucky to avoid the follow on
