    Good food

Has nobody been eating? Where's all the scran threads?

    Anyway...

The Cochrane Inn at Gatehead. Busy as hell but managed to get a seat up the bar. Had the steak burger with fries and onion rings for main and it was delicious but the sauteed tiger prawns with asian coleslaw that I had as starter was absolutely spot on, the prawns were the bets I have ever tried.

24 quid with a JD and coke. Mustn't grumble.

Oh and my personal favourite is a mock chop supper from the Bluebird on Urquhart Road. Especially if Richard is in charge of the fryer.

I was in the Ship Inn in Stonehaven for a munch last night

Terryaki Salmon. It was bloody lovely. Served on a bed of noodles. This was followed up by a Bailey bread and butter pudding which was on the specials board and soinded too fine to nae eat

Really enjoyable night. Drinking beers on the harbour side after our munch

    And i made a friend.

No proper stoney lads will enter the ship. Locals will know why.

The Marine is where to find the chaps and their made up chums.

JJ would've most likely been a few steps closer to Dunottar Castle, in the Marine.

The ship is excellent for munch, I usually take the folks there for tatties on my (infrequent......pretty much annual these days) visits to the Riviera.
