Striker??

What's the chances we will bring in a striker that will get us a good few goals this season before the window slams shut ?

None what so ever if we are being linked with defenders! Yesterday was a result we badly needed, but just as much we need a centre forward. I think Robinson is hoping to last it out till the next transfer window in January, when he hopes Turnbull and Tanner will both make returns to top team football and he can decide then what his priorities are then.

When I got up Saturday & saw the post "Illness strikes", I had a momentary hope that we had found someone worthwhile. Alas, not.

I've said all along I expect a striker to come in and I still do. Lafferty wouldn't surprise me - as a free agent he obviously has no deadline but clubs will settle up for the next months then and he'll have to commit somewhere. Quite rightly he's waiting to see if anything tops his current offers but time is ticking...
