We barely make up a car-full on here now. If you stick around, at least Alf will have to use his camper-van to accommodate us!
Very bad news about Bury. It's hard to believe it can happen, but with so much of the cash focused at the top of the game, I suppose it's the "free market" doing its job - as usual, at the expense of other important factors.

A sad day for English football but I am afraid bury will be the first of many.
The top tier is getting fatter while clubs are drowning the further down you go.
The bright lights look so far away sat in the lower leagues with crippling debts.
Fans have lost their club today and sadly will have to pick up the pieces.

First of all mate, great to hear from you. ****ty circumstances though
I'm gutted. Family are gutted.
This is a sad day for English football. Letting a club with 134 years of history die. The owner is a ****.
We have 2 seats at Gigg Lane that we pay for every season. My Grandad and my brother.
It will all be knocked down for flats soon. And that memory dies with it. All because this bloke who bought the club for a £1 wants to make some money. The EFL, Sky, the money being kept at the top of the game. The mega rich clubs on our doorstep. The lack of a fit & proper test. It's all resulted in a club dying. I'm hearing alot of ****e about it was their fault. While the club wasn't being run particularly well, it was just a sign of customer. I expect alot of clubs will end up the same. If Venkys left, Rovers would be no different. No buyer would come in and pump millions into us. It's all about those special 4 or 5 at the very top. Sod the rest. Very very sad indeed. A dark day for English football.
