    O/T:- Who needs Parliament?

Just put it into cold storage whenever you as leader of the nation want to pass something that might not get past Parliament's scrutiny.
Bring back hanging for murder? Not popular with MP's but very popular with the people. Suspend Parliament.
Kick out people who have a poor understanding of the English language (NCM members excepted). (Shouldn't be here if they can't understand OUR language anyway).
After all, it worked for Hitler and the Donald

Remarkable development. The next week will be very interesting indeed. It seems 'the will of the people' is the very last thing being considered by pretty much anyone right now.

Defiant MPs are saying that police will have to remove them from parliament and that they will call on the people to take to the streets.

... except, Snobhead 2, it's the self-interested MP's who are causing this by not representing the people's will.
Guy Fawkes had the right idea; but the cost of NHS time clearing up would have stretched the budget a little.

    This^^^

As far as MP's are concerned, the will of the people can do one. Let's hope the people feel the same way about their concerns.

... just shows how out of touch the MPs are if they think we would support them. Although if you're from the comfortable south-east you might. On second thoughts, they wouldn't want to dirty their hands, or come back from their second or third holiday; oh dear.

I find it quite amusing that the remoaner mp's are crying that its undemocratic, is it as undemocratic as trying to overrule the referendum result because they didn't like the outcome?
