Pigs will never fly! Much as the Socialists and Lib Dems may hope they will. I find it very strange that for all the vitriol and half baked efforts of all remainers to block Boris, he continues to lead in all opinion polls............very very strange I repeat, I wonder why?

"Style over substance" thats why people are take in initially. It doesnt take long to realise that with Boris as soon as you scratch the surface, you're out the other side

He'll no doubt try to repackage it as "Boris-Brexit" just like "Boris Bikes" and "Boris Busses" and other self publicising schemes of dubious benefit

The worrying thing is how much more important news Brexit has camouflaged. When it takes 39 dead to temporarily dislodge it from the main news headline.

A GE based solely on Brexit could be very dangerous for the country.

It's OK one side standing on a 'We'll get Brexit done, no ifs, no buts' and another on a 'Confirmatory Public Vote', or even 'Cancel article 50' but what else will be in the trojan horses of the winner?

I still haven’t heard a good argument for why a GE will sort this mess out more than a referendum would.

Because it we get an outright winner in a general election they can impliment what ever they want regarding brexit whether it is leave, stay or accept a deal without the opposition stopping it. And I think the majority of people want a GE.
The only people that want a second referendum are the ones that lost the first one.

The if in your first sentence is doing a lot of work there. The last election was supposed to do all that and look how that turned out. A referendum would be likely to be more clear cut if you’re wanting to sort the current situation out.

I would add that people who want an election only want an election because they think they can win it.

It's not the right answer, the flawed part is that it starts with "if we get an outright winner". What if we don't get an outright winner? What if we get another hung parliament with no party having a majority?

It is the right answer because IF you think we will get a hung Parliament you are deluded.

    Fancy a bet on it?
