I said last year and still think that Clarke was a flash in the pan who was flattered by a couple of good appearances as a sub. Since then he has done nothing and it's looking like £10M was a good deal for us.

Apparently spuds inserted a recall clause so he can go back in January.Shame he can't go back now cos when I read that he always planned to move on from Leeds I lost total respect for the lad.

Feel a bit for him, but when you look to your bench wondering who to bring on and there's Clarke or Costa, there's no option but Costa.
