    Prediction League - Everton

Last year we opened with a 2-2 draw with Everton to welcome ourselves back to the Premier League. When we went to Goodison, we knocked them around good for a 3-1 victory. This year, Everton have 4 points, but I don't think they're very happy with their performance. Opened with a 0-0 draw at Palace, beat a struggling Watford 1-0 and then lost 0-2 to at Aston Villa. I think they've had one of the softer openings, playing none of the big 6 and only one currently in the top 10. They've spent big again this summer, bringing in Andre Gomez, Fabian Delph, Moise Kean and Alex Iwobe. I think Moise Kean is going to be a star, but he's not quite there yet and that was their best signing IMO. He's young, so he hasn't put it all together yet. They've struggled to score goals so far, only one in league and only scored 3 in their seven preseason friendlies. They scored 4 in the EFL Cup, though it was against Lincoln City. We are still looking for our first league victory of the season. It could be this weekend, but I'll take the point on the road.

    1-1, Jota.

I'm so glad Palmeras contributes to this thread as it guarantees I won't finish bottom of the pile come seasons end. Well done that man!

I too am always glad to see Palmeras contributing; to me it's "one of those givens", a bit like night following day. Rock solid that man.
