Unsure what to make of Long today. In theory it's worse your striker isn't getting chances than he's often in the right place and just has one of those days in front of goal but these misses were pretty brutal. He'll get another start at Tynie, presumably, but he's the shakiest peg of the lot at the minute.

Thought Grimshaw did enough to keep his spot and Gillespie, after a brief dodgy spell, came up with some good saves when needed. Fair play to Hartley indeed, he's been generally rotten since his injury but he certainly has looked more capable this latest recall. Carroll also solid since we're dolling out praise like sweeties!
Donnelly = thinks he's better than he is, but I'll live with that ...
Grimmy = was ok, but surely when Tait's rid of the virus he's back in. Then, it's a pretty solid back 4.
Gillespie, Gallagher, Campbell and AN Other is a decent spine for the team
Polworth = getting there; one of those guys you don't notice but would miss if not playing
The others = good all-round performance; never envisaged a 3 nil so a great win
