Thread: McPake

    McPake

Have to say I don’t like the guy, particularly after the porter incident at Ninewells.
But he didn’t set his team out to blooter Shankland as some people thought.
And he didn’t make a big deal about the disallowed goal which looked ok to me.
Aimed his criticism at his own defence.
Just wonder if Strachan waiting in the wings to take over. Not that I give a f***.

I don't like him either but he did handle the post match stuff with dignity.

No chance Strachan is gonna take charge of that sh1t storm but I hope he does. Mcpake will be gone in few months if they aren't near the top.The last thing you need in the Championship is a manager with no experience. A fool learns by his own mistakes and a wise man learns from other peoples mistakes. The fun obviously haven't learned from the mistakes we made.

The first goal was definitely not offside but Hemmings goal?

Hemmings was in an offside position when the first cross was put in but it was phase 1 so I would say he wasn't. He was in an onside position when the ball got played to him.

The boy that knocked it down to Hemmings was offside though

Hemmings pushed Benji prior to bringing ball down. Though I think either Benji goes down for free kick or he has to be stronger there tbf

    Overall I’ll settle for 6-2 😂😂😂

Doubt Strachan would be best candidate or willing to take blame for where Fun are

I'd watch it again, both were offside when the fk was taken

Back on topic,we really could not have wished for a better chief funster appointment,Nelms had an in tray full of CV's but McPoke was his man.Any team getting relegated in the manner they did with a period of zero points from thirty available needed a vastly experienced manager to steady the ship but fortunately for us they went for an under 18's manager instead,FACT.
