Mel no longer in control of DCFC

    Companies House documents reveal:

"23 May 2019 Cessation of Melvyn Morris as a person with significant control on 28 June 2018
View PDF Cessation of Melvyn Morris as a person with significant control on 28 June 2018 - link opens in a new window - 1 page(1 page)

23 May 2019 Notification of Gellaw Newco 203 Limited as a person with significant control on 28 June 2018
View PDF Notification of Gellaw Newco 203 Limited as a person with significant control on 28 June 2018 - link opens in a new window - 2 pages(2 pages)"

Now since MM owns Gellaw 203 100% and is the sole director of it, how can he possibly have ceased to be a person with significant control over DCFC??

Because Companies House don't understand the link between Gellaw and Mel? Their database doesn't make the connection human brains do?

erm no, its because MM should never have ceased to be a controller, or at the very least should have ceased and re-become a controller on the same day via a different intermediate holding company.

Its not up to companies house to make the link, its up to the company / shareholder / controller to disclose it
