The first Zimbabwe president was the hilariously named Canaan Banana. It literally was a banana republic.

    Very much life of extremes.

Morphed into a right horrible fu ck er latterly.

His early work, however, stands the test of time.

I have it saved for a rainy day.
But if you look at his history it was latterly that he descended into full blown ball-baggery.

And by the cringe he dived in with both feet.

Murdering white farmers was a bit extreme. Mobbing up with the North Korean army to go on the rampage murdering tens of thousands was also a bit over the top. I can see how he was popular with many in Africa though.

Its all off min. It was a deliberate ploy as I was pre warned by a work mate about a job here that would need to be done in full BA(pain in the ass) so the boss man took one look at me and went "hes got a beard and will have to shave it off" so he didn't pick me. Soon as it was complete I shaved. There was a large chunk of laziness too as I hadn't shaved for days prior to the warning

Ill never have a beard of a moustache off my own back

A good summary of Mugabe, AKA 'the Yorkshireman'.
His initial rule after Ian Smith and Rhodesia led as an example in Africa. Latterly he had completely ruined Zimbabwe and he had turned into the very thing he originally opposed - an elective dictatorship. Sound familiar??
