Just watched the highlights on Ayr TV. Of the three penalty claims the second and third look inside the box but it is quite a low level camera so really difficult to judge. Don't know how McCall can say they outplayed us highlights both teams had spells when they were on top

McCall has always been deluded like that, gets his team hugely motivated against us, wasn't our best day but we still could/should have come away with something

Still we had done well enough the previous games that outwith a huge defeat like 6-2 we were going to be top regardless of the result

McCall just waiting for his wee chance to wind up Shanks and unsettle the team. Horrible little man. Need us focused this week.

McCall’s comments should actually now be acting as a springboard for the rest of the season. His ungracious pish spouted in the aftermath of obviously a good result for them should instead be acting as a major encouragement for ourselves. I would get his comments pinned up on the dressing room wall not just for the next game but for the rest of the phucking season as if that doesn’t motivate them to give everything from here on in then nothing will. Wouldn’t it be marvellous come May to be able to say that our successes were inspired in no small part thanks to the kind inspirational remarks of Ian McCall - now that would be the ultimate puss shutter.

So McCall's getting slated for 'hugely motivating' his team and being delighted that his team played better than us and beat the team at the top of the league with their, comparatively, miniscule budget. 🤔

Nobody’s disputing any of that, but IMHO he went a lot further than there was any need to with stuff that was completely below the belt.

It's called motivation, maybe our manager should try it.

Maybe McCall pinned up on the wall of their changing the statement put out from United when we signed Smith & Shankland, don't think that was well thought out on our behalf at all. McCall is a bitter cnt and I bet he couldn't wait to use that statement re the coaching and facilities against us.

spot on, nobody criticising what he does with ayr utd, but his aftermatch comments smacked of a bitter pent up disrespectful trash talking rant. Anyone old enough to remember his time at Utd will attest to this, I used to hate coming home after matches when we had played sh1te, and then listening to him on the radio spending 5 minutes blaming the ref for us losing (I think he believed it most the time). If we beat Ayr next time he will either put it down to luck or the ref, and mention the budgets.
