    Villa vs West ham

Is Trez out? I would give Lansbury a start. I'm happy with Hourihane but Lansbury deserves it imo.
We need big wez too impress.

I'd like to see Davis get a start. He was lively against Palace. We look a better side when Hourihane plays. Seem to hold our shape better.

    Hourihane, Jack and SJM.
Davis, Wes and Elghazi for me, support big Wes, we need goals and 3 points.

I'd put Jota in ahead of Davis. Just hope Tyrone wasn't paying too much attention to the other England defenders!

I think Wes needs some support, he was never the CF he was a support striker. Maybe put Davis up front and leave Wes running off or just behind?

Trez has a one match ban, El Ghazi an impact sub as I think Jota gives us more over 90 mins, Davis & Wes are similar players - agree Hourihane helps us look more solid. Lansbury has impressed when he's been thrown in and a lot of fans rate him.

poor effort. jack and mcginn looked like they've never played together, marvelous looks decent... think 442 would be a better option, playing narrower makes more sense than crossing the ball from wide with no one in the box. we have two Heskey's as strikers now... we need someone in there who poaches. most disappointing game so far.

Playing Jota and El Ghazi is having a negative impact on Grealish and McGinn who are being forced to defend when they should be further up the pitch. Not convinced those two wingers are good enough for the Prem actually and I’m still not convinced about Wesley.

Agree tbh Picasso, Jota can look quality at times but then proper frustrating at times when he gives ball away etc n Wesley for me has had one good game against Everton.. early days for him though n wonder whether he needs some one up with him n defo needs more service

Had we got the decision against Palace then the proverbial glass might be looking half full, we don't seem to know how to make the extra man count after a red card. That said - the subs were wrong for me, Wesley got increasingly frustrated feeding off scraps and Jota or AEG could have been pushed up alongside him with Nakamba making way for Hourihane or Lansbury to press home the advantage.

The work rate from the players was phenomenal against a very confident and organised side who for some reason looked more balanced with 10 men, their closing down on the edge of the box to snuff out threats was superb.

Fabianski was the busier keeper by far and after just 5 games we are starting to look a settled side - onwards & upwards.

My thoughts exactly... Except I would be starting Hourihane every game. Love the player
