My first match this season and my favourite away day somewhat less so because of the early kick off.
3 O'clock kick off and I dont leave home until 11, get off the tube at Putney Bridge, stroll thro the park past the home end for a pint or 2 with friendly locals on the banks of The Thames at The Crabtree.
12.30 kick off leave at 10 go to match come home.
I've seen the Albion win 3 times at The Cottage. Anyone else done that?

Not going. Early kick off, Sky and inflated home ticket price have conspired. Fed up of paying through the nose for the privilege of being inconvenienced. Doing an Alzheimers/Dementia Memory Walk with the wife for our sadly departed moms instead. Then it's off to see a pal of mine star in an amateur dramatics production on the evening. Voted with my feet and my wallet.

Sympathise totally. Mine is only a minor inconvenience compared to many but the early kick off has changed it from a good day with a match into just a match. I will only get to do about 6 away games so they remain 'special' but only just. Same problem v QPR.Originally Posted by Albionic68
