Thread: Scottish Civil Court Judgement.

  1. #21
Boris does not want a no-deal Brexit, he wants to be a hero to 17.4Million and believes he can secure a better deal than the WA as he respects that we are a democracy & knows that the longer this goes on the worse the nation becomes. There is of course the not too small a matter of the taxation changes in 2020 and he needs big business onside with that.

What really makes my blood boil is the bleating of politicians stating they need to discuss Brexit - it's been discussed for the past 3 bleedin' years, to the detriment of any other matters requiring parliamentary debate. The remainers are looking more and more like a bunch of immature 6th form protestors - can anyone imagine how radically different things would be had the result been 52-48 the other way after a referendum voted on by over 70% of the electorate.

I don't understand all this fawning over our judges that seems prevalent at the moment. Many of their judgements in the recent past, not connected with Brexit, make you wonder if a number of them are really fit for purpose. I feel that the general public often wonder how they arrive at their decisions or the sentences that they impose. I have stated in a recent post that Brexiteers are fighting against the establishment and it makes you wonder whether this is another one. They are even at odds with each other as typified by the different judgements of the English and Scottish courts in the case of Boris Johnson. Let's just hope that the Supreme Court make the correct decision regarding Boris and that it was legal for him to proroge parliament.

Yes they should have had these debates before the referendum but they didn’t. Instead 541 to 114 MP’s voted to give the public a vote and twice voted for A50. The fact these issues such as the backstop were never seen just shows how arrogant, out of touch and clueless many in that place are which is why the place needs flushing out ASAP

Most judges enjoy nothing more than putting a rope around their neck whilst stuffing an orange in their mouth or being beaten to a pulp by some tart wearing stilettos.

It’s hard to have any respect for that fraternity!
