    Pochettino on Trippier

Claiming all the credit for Spurs for transforming a “second division player” into an England international.

As we know, of course, all the nurturing was done at Burnley.

I think it was labelling him a second division player that grated with me Fran. True most of his time at Burnley was spent in the Championship but he was picked in the divisional team of the season two years running and had just competed a full season in the Premier League with the Clarets when he moved to Spurs. I trust Tripps has great success at Atletico Madrid!

Cheeky arrogant foreigners, I'd like to see Poch, Pep, Mourinho and all the rest Manage on a shoe string in league One or Championship, most would be utterly useless and not worth a sausage.

I would imagine he's a bit touchy on the subject of Trippier, managers are always touchy when they've made a mistake.

Shame on you Alto. Mike does not lie, he's just economical with the truth.

Wait until the day Sean leaves Jon, that self-satisfied smirk will be wiped off his face quicker than a rat can get up a drain.

I often ruminate sinkov over whether Dyche could shake off the "Dirty Burnley" tag, or he is such a good fit with the club and the fans he may just do a Harry Potts and stay forever...

I've said it before BT, I don't think we're in any imminent danger of losing him, none of the clubs above us, supposedly bigger clubs, will want him because of his perceived style of play, and why would he leave us for a club beneath us ? He could be here for a long while yet.
