Now Under 23s coach at Cardiff with Neil Warnock. He was signed by Notts from Swansea for £275,000 (those were the days) during Mick Walker's tenure, after Warnock had been sacked.
He got a place in the Guinness Book of Records after throwing a football 44.6 metres at Wembley Stadium, before an England game against Brazil.
Notts won the Anglo-Italian Cup at Wembley against Ascoli, as a result of one of his long throws. Tony Agana claimed he'd got a touch and the goal stood but Andy felt it went straight in from his throw.
Excellent news. Please to hear it.
