The current formation seems designed not to lose and maybe hit them on the break (awful to watch but worked for the first 20). The problem is you either need better players to make it work or the players need to be coached/organised better.

I like the look of Joelinton and agree that he's just too isolated. I like Almiron, too, but either he, Bruce or both of them have no ides where he should be playing and there's absolutely no sign that he and Joelinton have worked together in training to try to develop any sort of understanding for the job they're being asked to do.

Yeah I thought that about him and Jo everytime they play it's like the first time they've played together.

Almiron is most effective running at the defence from the half way line and making space for others. Bruce has tried to replace Perez(who playing as an inside forward was basically a second striker) with Almiron, but their games are totally different.

Yeah with Yedlin out id rather have Manq in than Krafth and that's saying something, I was hoping we might improve on Yedlin in that position but we really haven't.
