It's all well and good having 30k in the stadium when you are winning but it works against the Mackems at this level when it isn't going so good .

Nick an early goal and they will turn on their team making that Sunderland shirt very heavy to wear .

They still have the mindset up there that they have a given right to be romping away with the league .

I presume because their new manager has won his first game their fans will think automatic promotion is nailed on again after a brief interlude under Lee Bullen

Some of the stuff I read last season on their forum " Ready To Go " made the wendy's sound humble by comparison .

Nobody disputes they are a huge club with massive support but they seemed to forget they'd had two successive relegations and didn't have a pot to pyss in and their marque signing was Charlie Wyke from Bradford City .

Their board made very satisfying reading when they lost the Play Off Final to Charlton for a few days afterwards .

To “outmassive” Sheffield Wednesday is quite an achievement

Wonder if Maguire will behave like an idiot like last time we played against him in a friendly

What kind of following are we expecting for this game? Its a shame it wasn't a Saturday.
    Sold around 800 so far.
Would have sold a lot more if it had been a Saturday game.
Tickets go off sale Tuesday 12 o’clock.

    Looking forward to this one..⚽️
