which players who were really good players have made it as a good manager or coach? I'm not talking about just any ex-pro (otherwise the list would be too huge) but players who were exceptional. I wonder if the very best players do things so instinctively they can't really pass their skills on? I think there are plenty of examples of talented players who haven't been able to make the step up.

So who out of the best managers was a really good player, too? Does Zidane count? I mean, he was an exceptional players-does he count as a really good manager too or has he got his jobs because of who he is and has been able to work with talented players?
