    Dicks

Sorry i do not mean to offend everyone but some of you are, i posted a long thread but it wouldnt let me submit,

So short and sweet, Bamford deserves his place, Harrison doesnt, not that hes a bad player but Costa is better, Bamfords workrate is brilliant and that is why he is starting its a long season and eddie will get his chance,

We are a class above anything i have seen in this league so far and that will tell,

Anyone would think we are sitting bottom instead of top, unbelievable.

And whoever is slagging one of the most sought after managers whom we are lucky to have knows *** all about football.

Agree with most of that but whilst Bamford is so much better than last year still not convinced he is a 9 but more of a 10.

we play the best football I’ve seen us play for years, MB is a genius but it’s just so frustrating when we drop points by not killing off games by taking the chances. I love watching us play - the comparison with us under recent managers is like night and day.

Eddie is raw and young and maybe he is not yet ready but surely he is worth more minutes than the last 15. Bamford is much better at building up play but he doesn’t convince me as a striker. I would love him to prove me wrong but his stats are not great.

I also agree we have one of the best managers we’ve ever had and we also live in the reality of FFP and FPS but it is still annoying we don’t have the last piece of the jigsaw.

Bamford was not gonna score in a month of Sundays and while I thought Harrison worked hard the end product was poor.
In my opinion Bielsa got the timing of the subs wrong. Both Eddie & Costa should have had at least 40-45 mins.End of the day the buck stops with the manager but the players also have to take some blame.Make no mistake we were the better side by a long chalk but its another game where we did not finish the job..when we should have!

And that is how I saw it!

Shall I go and stand in the naughty corner now?

Lol go on then Rev, you can have 15 mins there,

This assessment is spot on i agree, Managers get it wrong, there is no need for the slagging off he gets as he has got it so right most of the time,

Regarding Bamford, he is playing well without scoring, he badly needs a goal, so why would MB drop him, he may then lose his confidence then where would we be if young Eddie doesnt do it from the start, we are top so no need at the minute,

    Maybe they could both play.

Are you even a Leeds fan Rev ? Whenever I log on here you're either slagging off Bielsa and his team or throwing your toys out of the pram over something and nothing.

Play them both and drop klich for that awful penalty, seriously I would play them both and have a midfield of klich, forshaw and Hernandez.

Anybody ever wonder, if he was so much sought after, how did he wind up with a mid table second division team.

Bielsa got a squad that did not so well, so they did very well, for half a season and we failed to get promotion having been in the automatic promotion positions for a large part of the season. So far so ok.

We drop off the edge of a cliff in the last 10 matches if the season and no changes (apart from the disastrous intervention if our gk cum sweeper) are made.

We start this season with three potentially game changing loanees, and we continue to play the two key outfield players who failed to perform last season, using our newcomers in penny number minutes on the field.

"Slagging off"?? Justified criticism, and from many quarters, more like. Surely he (and his supporters) are big enough to take it that he isn't infallible, and maybe needs to adapt, or we die another painful, slow, inescapable death of yet another seasons aspirations?

Rarely agree with you WTF but on this occasion I do.
Sometimes my critisism of you is that you leap in to complain far too quickly about performances before the game is even over, but on this occasion can understand the justified complaints - as you point out - from all sorts of fans on here - many who seldom moan about anything - after watching the fourth home league game on the bounce where we have dominated but either scraped a single goal win, or given a lead away to a last minute equaliser - or worse, failed to score at all and then been done at the death - something that happened all to often towards the end of last season too.

I try to keep my powder dry no matter what - but on this occasion I couldn't, I let out my frustration in the sides inability to convert their numerous chances for the fourth home game on the bounce, and the managers stuborness in not giving Costa and Eddie a starting chance when the team is dominating games - to see what they can do with the dozen chances we create each week before half time - costing us points that would have had us well clear at the top of the table.

I don't appreciate being labelled a "Dick" for expressing frustration and disappointment [Nothing more] at what appears to be the one real weakness in our set up that others do and will continue to exploit!

Reminds me of when Ali beat Foreman all those years ago - he took everything big George had, let him punch himself out - then flattened him at the death.

    Rope a dope!
