    JOB injury

Jim O’Brien will be sidelined for at least two months after suffering a double fracture and dislocation to his arm yesterday.

Really sorry to hear that - a huge blow for both player and team.

Jim was quite magnificent in his last home performance against Halifax. He will be a real loss.

No injury is pleasant but that sounds particularly painful.

Not ideal. He's our best midfielder for sure. Got to be Rose and Booty for a few games now with Osbourne on the right and either Enzio or Baka on left?

Sorry to hear that real bad news for Jim & the club not forgetting his guitar playing, he will leave a big hole in midfield, in the last home match I thought tha was probably his best all round performance despite having to swop roles after Doyle received his marching orders.Lets hope he has a speedy recovery with no problems.

He doesn't strike me as the sort of player who hits the deck easily, and he looked in real pain yesterday, so feared it was a bad one.

Hope he recovers quickly, real shame for him.

It's been a terrible week really, Graham out for the season, O'Brien out for months, Doyle out for effectively a month, Turner missing games too. Just last Saturday it looked like things were coming together, now midfield looks suddenly threadbare and without Turner the defence is definitely weaker.
Good luck to JOB getting back to fitness relatively quickly.

True, it's a rotten week, but we won't be the only club with injuries and suspensions. If anything, the size of our squad should give us an advantage over others. I don't suppose Boreham Wood have 4 right backs to choose from.
