    What a gutless individual!

What a gutless individual Jeremy Corbyn is! This is the man who has demanded a General Election 37 times since 2016 and now that he has the opportunity he gives every excuse under the sun not to have one. Why? Because he knows that despite all Boris Johnson's trials and tribulations he realises that the people of this country are not stupid and would never vote this obnoxious individual to be our Prime Minister. So what does this say about the Labour Party? Not a lot!
How they keep supporting him is just beyond comprehension and makes me realise that they will never be the ruling party in this country for years to come.

Not trying to defend JC in any way, but wasn't the reason for the alliance not to call for an election because it would mean no deal brexit going through? Because Parliament shuts down? I'm not totally clued up on these specific technicalities, but I thought that was the reason.

That's one of the excuses used. Let's be honest, with the difficulties Boris is facing any opponent with conviction would jump at the opportunity to oust him, but not Corbyn. You have to ask the question, why?
