I can not say for sure Gaza is more dense and higher buildings, yet in the background it looks flat, so is it the sea there? But Syria in parts is very flat,I was stationed there in the army and just saw Syria for 1 month. Its flat but has traces of small volcanoes.Since Israel captured the Golan heights after 19 years of shelling
    .
The Golan Heights has some of the highest altitudes in Israel – ranging from 1,300 to 4,000 feet – while also having some of the coolest climate. The volcanic soil in the area is beneficial for growing healthy vines that produce complex flavors."What is important to the vine is a combination of temperature and humidity. The days in the ripening season are dry and almost always have afternoon winds. At night, it is cool with fog or dew. The vines love this." So for those that love wine.....

The wine making tradition in the region is one of the oldest in the world. There are ancient wine presses that dot the landscape, and Israel is now redeveloping its ancient varieties.
The Golan Heights is a microcosm of the vast geographic diversity found in Israel – especially for such a tiny country. (By comparison, it's about the same size as New Jersey.) In the 25-miles-as-the-crow-flies climb from the 1,300 foot elevation to the 4,000 foot elevation, there are five distinct types of volcanic soil allowing Yarden to produce many varietals and wine styles successfully. Perhaps there is another region like it? With such varietals as cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, gewürztraminer, malbec, syrah and a blanc de blanc sparkling wine.

Iron Dome intercepts four rockets fired into Golan from Syria.

Not only in the south but in the North East as well!

Firing from Syria, for the first time in almost six months: At 4:50 am, an alarm was sounded in the Golan and the Upper Galilee, and about half an hour later, the IDF reported that 4 launches had been fired, and an iron dome intercepted them.

With Trump on your side and billions of US dollars in military aid, a few home made rockets won't really harm you Balan...

What we see from here you do not see from there
If Jerusalem is not the capital then we have no Capital City??

No apartheid here Arabs ,Druize, Christians all can hold positions. Even Arabs, Druize and Christians serve in the Army , I served on the Lebanese border and the Golan Heights!

Halting US aid to the Palestinian government ,yes its being paid to Palestinians in Jails after trying ,or commiting a crime,a nice wage for familys.

Halts Aid to UNRWA? their schools teach hatred and who work their Palestinians talk about being corrupt!

PLO ,''Liberation Organization''? The do not want to share ,No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, and no negotiations with Israel.

Syria shelled Israel for 19 years (Jorden too),they attacked Israel together with Egypt and Jordan, and lost.So the UN, and the world want Israel to give it back so they can shell us again?

Forth Geneva Convention ,Article 49 states
"The occupying power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own population into the territories it occupies." How can we occupy land which was ours''? Armies came and went, the last being Jorden and Arab states. After Jordan lost the West Bank to Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War, the Palestinians there remained Jordanian citizens until Jordan decided to renounce claims and sever administrative ties with the territory in 1988.
Check the San Remo conferance, still hold true for today
There was no Palestine, only the British Mandate for Palestine.
The San Remo Conference was an international meeting held following the conclusion of World War I that determined the precise boundaries for territories captured by the Allied Powers. It also marked the beginning of the British Mandate over the state of Israel then known as Palestine (continued).....

Let this sink in for a moment: before the San Remo conference there did not exist a single Arab independent nation state. Not one. All 22 Arab states that exist today (as part of the Arab League) became nation states either as a direct result of the San Remo conference, or much later. Therefore, the legitimacy of Israel as a Jewish state is exactly equal or greater to the legitimacy of any of the Arab nation states.

The Arabs of Palestine viewed themselves as Syrian and as pan-Arabs.

Did the Arabs oppose the creation of a Jewish State at San Remo? The answer is a resounding NO!

At that time they were focused on the creation of independent Arab states and had no objection to the establishment of a tiny Jewish state in Palestine. This was formalized in the Weizmann-Feisal agreement which led to the League of Nations recognizing the Land of Israel (then Palestine) as the homeland of the Jewish people.

    Israel is not Saudia Arabia

Four rockets were fired from Syria towards Israel- Israels responce?

At least 11 dead in wide-scale Israeli strikes in Syria
War monitoring group says at least 7 of the casualties are foreign nationals; IDF says it carried out the attacks, hitting targets belonging to Iran's elite Quds force, in response to the rocket fire at Israel's north; 'Our message to Iranian leaders: you're no longer immune,' says Bennett
The Israeli military said it struck dozens of Iranian targets in Syria on Wednesday, carrying out a wide-scale strike in response to rocket fire on the Golan Heights the day before. War monitoring group reported at least 11 people were killed including foreign nationals.

The military said its fighter jets hit multiple targets belonging to Iran's elite Quds force, including surface-to-air missiles, weapons warehouses and military bases. After the Syrian military fired an air defense missile, the Israeli military said a number of Syrian aerial defense batteries were also destroyed.

Israel's new hard-line defense minister, Naftali Bennett, issued an equally firm statement.
"The rules have changed: whoever fires on Israel during the day will not sleep at night," he said. "Our message to the leaders of Iran is simple: you are no longer immune. Any place you dispatch your tentacles, we will chop them off."
