Thread: FFS Free Palestine

  1. #121
I have always found it odd sinkov that the British toffs favour a privileged Israeli state and the Jews, whilst the British proletariat favour subjugated Muslims and the occupied Palestinian Territories.

    Framed like that, I suppose it's a no-brainer really.

To the right honourable B T: ''All the while, the Israelis back Trump in this game of geopolitical chess and continue to fill their coffers with billions of military aid from the US''.
    https://www.israelandstuff.com/

How U.S. Military Aid to Israel Actually Works. ( By Phillip Pasmanick )
It’s a fact that year after year, huge amounts of military aid is earmarked for Israel via overwhelming bipartisan support in both the U.S. Senate & House of Representatives, but the squad of young Democrat antisemitic detractors conveniently translate that to it’s being ‘given’ to Israel…and therein lies the subversive misleading claim.

Those who think the U.S. “SENDS” or “GIVES” the ‘Military Aid’ to Israel are simply uninformed and unaware of how the financial assistance is laid out with regard to Israel, and Israel alone. Significantly more money for military budgets is sent to countries like Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Japan, allocated under designated categories, funding policies, or procurement titles. Only those who are invested in gathering all the information really know the details.

Since 2018 all of what’s allocated to the Jewish State is regulated by law to be spent in the United States. So, the ‘aid given to Israel’ is actually used in paying American workers and keeping them employed to pay taxes that goes on to stimulate the American economy. That chunk is to ASSIST in the R&D of Israeli ideas and innovations that ISRAELI engineers/scientists are working on in America….such as the Iron Dome, a well known Israeli anti-missile missile, that was actualised and is still being produced in the U.S.
    – In return for the above, the U.S. inherits invaluable Israeli technology.

The United States has full access to EVERYTHING that Israel conceptualised and then contracted for production in the U.S. Everything that’s ‘Made for Israel’ belongs to the U.S. too (which is fair, since the US paid for it) and the US can go on to export it for a profit.
.......such assistance to Israel is a win-win situation for both countries, making both stronger and safer.

I like it BT, the British proletariat, I haven't heard of them for a long while, it reminds me of the 70s when I couldn't get enough of Tony Benn. I thought they were an extinct species, like dinosaurs, but apparently not. Tell me BT, are there many of them ?

BT: It looks like it is the Kurds in trouble not the Syrians? In that area live Kurds and some Syrians. But why does Erdogan ('Mr Turkey') want a 20 km safe zone, by driving out the Kurds? If they are driven out ,who would replace them? Is his intention to expel the 3 million Syrians already in Turkey,to settle there and fill that vacuum? If it is ,then why did they leave Syria?Because of the fighting ,the bombing etc ,or their fear of President Bashar al-Assad? If they are Sunni Arabs, then al-Assad is their enemy? After all the Government in Syria is an Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, who have remained the dominant force in Syria, with al-Assad ruling them with an iron fist! Turkey will withdraw ,but it can only do so knowing a solution is agreeable also to Turkey. Bashar al-Assad would not want Turkey invading its land, and that now, is where the Russians come in. That would be Putin's task,to formulate a peaceful solution! They say peace is the result of a fight ,but just where does that leave the Kurds??

I lke the way Balan fills in the little gaps in our knowledge of the true situation in that region BT, and sometimes the gaps aren't quite so little.

Well you just take care in that Beamer BT, and don't run any of them over, they might not be quite extinct yet, but they're certainly an endangered species, on the red list, if you'll pardon the pun.
