Could it be the Labour party is now shouting ''Free the Kurds!'' I wonder???
The international actors who like to think that they are the moral conscience of the international community have mustered little more than a shrug in the direction of the horrors that have played out in Syria, for example, over the last seven years.
Those same actors have barely blinked over the torture, rape, and mass murder of Syrians and Iraqis – Yezidi, Kurd, Christian and Muslim. Most recently, this international community has shown its moral stature by largely ignoring the Turkish military onslaught on Afrin, the Kurdish enclave in the north of Syria.
The lesson – clear to even the most amateurish historian – is that the world at large accepts only one currency: Strength.
Israel learned that lesson a long time ago, when the international community collectively closed its eyes to the brutal murder of six million Jews.
Literally by financially supporting the survival of terrorist entities, such as the PLO. While the international community will let Christians, Yezidis and Kurds fall by the wayside, they have never abandoned the Palestinian Authority, despite its open pursuit of terrorism and the slow-phased destruction of Israel.
The international community ignores Hamas’ and PLO’s genocidal propaganda against Israel and Jews, while denying Israel the universal right of self-defence by falsely – and automatically – branding all Israeli military operations as “disproportionate” and “excessive”. This is topped off by an Orwellian strand of propaganda that presents Arab aggressors as “victims”, while branding Israel as the “villain” for defending her right to exist.
Jeremy Corbyn pleaded with David Cameron not to bomb Syria. He stood in the House of Commons and pleaded for the MP's across all parties not to give a majority vote to bomb Syria. I posted this a 1000 times, but still we bombed the phuck out of it anyway...

Netanyahu condemns Turkish invasion into Syria
PM warns against 'ethnic cleansing of the Kurds' by Turkey and its allies and says Israel is ready to provide humanitarian aid to the 'gallant Kurdish people'; Turkey launched a large-scale offensive against Kurdish fighters in northern Syria on Wednesday.
“The current focus of aggression in the Middle East is the Iranian regime in Tehran. Iran is striving to tighten its grip in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and the Gaza Strip," he added.
Heavy fighting is reported in northern Syria on the second day of a Turkish offensive into Kurdish-held areas.
Turkey says it has seized a number of designated targets and killed dozens of Kurdish militants.
Tens of thousands of people are reported to be fleeing their homes, and Kurds report several civilian deaths.....but it does not matter really, it is not Israel doing this??
The odd bomb here or there hardly matters does it sinkov?= Yes, also the odd bullet here or there hardly matters does it not too B T?
BT : I do not think that you have understood Iran. Its aims are to become a power house ,in the Middle East. To do this is has to create a state of chaos in that area, by encouraging small groups to offer resistance to governments.“The current focus of aggression in the Middle East is the Iranian regime in Tehran. Iran is striving to tighten its grip in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and the Gaza Strip." To establish proxy's regimes to do their work. The growing importance of the Shia militias’ resistance to the I.S. in Iraq is not simply the result of their own combat skills. It is very much a product of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian regime’s elite paramilitary force, whose role in regional conflicts—and, it should be noted, terrorism—is large and expanding. The Shia’s success in Iraq reflects the effectiveness of IRGC doctrine regarding the construction, support, and use of sectarian political and military proxies as a central tool—sometimes the central tool—of Iranian policy in the region.
Iran has displayed a peerless ability to harness and utilise forces of this kind in the Middle East. It is a major factor in Iran’s ongoing success in building political influence in surrounding countries.
Dozens of IDF reservists have called on Israel to provide military and humanitarian support to the Kurds in Syria following Turkey’s attack in the north of the war-torn country.
“We, as Israelis and Jews, must not stand by when we see another nation abandoned by its allies and left defenceless,” read an online petition started by Maj. (res.) Yair Fink. “We remember very well the blood of our people, what happens when the nations of the world abandon the fate of a people.”
The petition, signed by dozens of reservists with the ranks ranging from captain to lieutenant colonel, was addressed to Prime Minister and Defence Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi.
“Israel is a country that has the means to help the Kurdish people, and now is the time to do so,” it read, adding that while “we know that there are broad strategic implications here, and of course we are not fully aware of the overall picture, we, who have been educated on the values of personal examples and the sanctity of life, cannot help but feel it at this time and would be happy to assist in any action.”
The Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said the withdrawal of American troops was a betrayal by Washington, and that the move would turn the clock back on the five years of achievements against the Islamic State.
I get it now Balan. Trump withdraws US troops and then funds the Israelis to fill the vacuum. Smart.
BT: Such crazy ideas you have ? These are reservists ( with a strong sense of morality) just active for about 30 days in a year after doing your normal service, the last thing you want is to do more duty in what ever brigade they belong to. Their petition was addressed to the Prime Minister and Defence Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi. So how could Trump contact reservists?
You write ''Trump withdraws US troops''. To withdraw means ,'remove or take away from a particular place or position.' Or to move from X to Y? So where did they go home? Perhaps we can say 'abandoned?' In terms of a USA/Britain, deal in trade ,thats ok ,I mean here it would be profit ,so he would not 'leave' such a deal, you can trust him on that!
How do Americans feel about Trump? The would-be dictator president, has shamed your nation and our people, by supporting another would-be dictator, Erdogan of Turkey, in his assault on one of our best and most steadfast allies, the Kurds.
The Kurds ,a people, and ally that did more to defeat ISIS than anyone else!
