    Leaving the the hot

Water on the wash hand basin then jumping into the shower forgetting that you left the hot tap on.
Or fill the bath and forgetting you have done this until a tad later and the waters going up by the overflow.
Done this a few times over the year getting a bit worried by my stupidity.

Do you lads do the same in yer twilight years.

Going upstairs with the intention of getting something, getting distracted momentarily by something else, going downstairs without the thing you intended going up there for in the first place and having to go back up.

Do this several times a day. Bloody annoying but it provides some exercise.

When I'm nipping out to the shops for two or three things, I now put the items in the "notes" on my i-phone, as there's been the odd time that I've arrived at the supermarket only to forget what I've gone in there for.

    Story of my life.

We have a basement in the shop, I haven't come back up with the thing I went down for for about a year.

When you're older you might learn to appreciate the benefits of a fine lang steep in a bathy. Soothes the aches min although it can be a bugger getting oot sometimes.
