2 Derby players charged with drink driving.

Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence both charged with drink driving after a collision involving 2 cars. Both pissheads were arrested at the scene.

Absolute scum..get pissed and take the wheel of your car and you have a killing machine in your hands.

    Shame on them.

Will the powers that be that felt a 200 grand fine for standing on a public footpath actually act on something that is far far worse?

Amazing what getting a point away from home at Leeds can make you do.

And that is all part of the mitigation - poor souls were traumatised following their visit to Elland Road, which brought back all the bad memories of last season. A clear case of PTSD, seems it fashionable now (even worn out ex models claim to have it from being divorced). I have no doubt they will employ some smart arse lawyer who will argue the same or that the cop stuttered whilst requesting the breathalyser or similar.

May be wrong here but I think Tom Lawrence has only just got his licence back.

No idea what’s happened to this lad. He’s become an obnoxious, belligerent, conceited, arrogant fella who has an ego the size of Everest. He never used to be like this as a youth player at Leicester and was as quiet as a mouse at Rotherham.

Shame coz he did have a talent but his attitude stinks. 5 cards in 7 matches says it all. He’s out of control. To DD, crash his car and injure others, potentially could have killed says to me he needs serious rehabilitation and banning from football until he’s properly rebuilt his life. Few clubs will want to take on such a disruptive element surely.

I predict that nothing regarding football or the footballing authorities will be done, (only injury will prevent them playing), no sanction applied, not by the club. Only plod will do what should be done, let's see if they have the spine.

He'll do what he always does when he's stressed out.

it's hell to be a domestic farm animal in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I hope they get everything they deserve. There were apparently other players in the two cars as passengers. The only one confirmed was Keogh who has a fractured wrist and injured knee from the crash and is out for this Saturday's game against Brum.

Why they didn't take a cab is a mystery. Never mind the fare, they could buy the cab company.

    No sympathy from this Ram.
