    Next up - St Johnstone

Motherwell will travel to Perth on Saturday to face a St Johnstone side yet to record a league win this season. Can we overcome our charitable tendency and take three points? - External Link

St Johnstone are not as bad as their record makes out. They've played both the OF already and taken a point from both Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

But obviously they're now lacking confidence and as soon they conceded first to Rangers last week they were a well beaten team. They will consider us at home the ideal chance to win but will be full of nerves...another loss would be a real blow to us but you'd hope we can sneak the victory.

It's hard to predict us this season as we are capable of producing results but are also capable of being absolutely murder.

I think we'll win on Saturday though, 3-1.

Our record in Perth must also be as bad as anywhere outside Glasgow at the minute...from most recent to 2013 our record there is:

    LWDLDLLLLLL

Before that we were actually very strong up there so perhaps the cycle is beginning to turn again. Only one defeat in the last three visits!
