We all know Dobbie is missing Dykes but I think he’s also playing with an injury and have the fear this could be his last ever playing season.

A fair result in the end. Dundee had more of the ball, but Queens edged them on actual real chances. A tremendous save by McCrorie from Dorrans free kick earned him the man of the match award, - really liked his throws towards the end of the match.

Best performance in a Queens' shirt by Holt since his return, with Kilday and Pybus putting in some great shifts. The entire team worked hard and for that I couldn't fault them.

My only disappointment was Alan Johnston's failure to put on Connor Murray as I reckon his pace would have troubled Dundee.

El Bakatoui's yellow card has to be questioned.

Will it bring people back to Palmerston? It will probably not inspire any floaters - but it should maybe entice a few of the stay away's to make a reappearance.

Certainly an end to end game with plenty of chances for both sides and probably a draw was a fair result. Queens are clearly lacking guile in the middle of the park which makes the sight of Todd warming the Dundee bench even more galling as he is precisely the type of midfielder we are crying out for. Can we get him back on loan or have we used up our allocation?
