    New Captain?

Assume it will be Huddlestone.... can’t see anyone else up to the job at the mo?

    Surprised it’s Huddlestone.
He may have the experience and right personal characteristics but is he one of the first names on the team sheet and is he likely to be managing two games a week in the near future or staying on the pitch for ninety minutes?
Curtis Davies had the experience of being captain under Rowett before his injury and is presumably going to have to become a regular again.
Either way...suspect Keogh is going to be missed a great deal more than Lawrence or Bennett.

Curtis Davies had the experience of being captain under Rowett before his injury and Chris Martin had a brief spell too although I can’t see that happening again.

RA this is a hard one ,don't see any captains in this squad To tell the truth i fear for our future Can't see Davies playing to much ,as you say Huddleston twice a week doubtful and don't think he's captain material anyway . Can't really give it to a loanee, just about leaves Waghorn ,that's how poor this squad is . I seriously worry about this squad don't see many with the aptitude or desire for a relegation scrap. Because that's what is going to happen . Any way cheer myself up tonight going to watch the U23s in European action

Whoever is appointed will only be keeping the seat dry for Wazza

Very surprised, IF the rumours of him filming Bennett ringing the porcelain telephone are true?

They do appear to be true although he did leave hours before the incident occurred.

Yep...it’s really not the behaviour you’d expect from a potential captain is it?
Sadly, as mista says, there’s not much choice. Davies, Martin and Shinnie all have experience of captaincy but unfortunately they’re hardly in the team.
Maybe Bielik...sometimes certain players rise to the occasion and benefit from being given the extra responsibility.

Hopefully, as Adi implies, Rooney can come in and play a Leon Osman leadership role after Christmas but until then it’s looking like a struggle.
