    Bury FC back in court over winding up order after latest takeover bid fell through - got 14 days to respond. Possibility of forming a "phoenix" club now looking more likely

    If so calling the Phoenix club Bury FC would be like calling MK Dons Wimbledon

    Chair of Bury FC Rescue Committee now saying that he is confident that Bury FC will be allowed to join the National League pyramid system ... so possibly not the National League itself, and therefore hinting that if The Shakers are allowed to return, it may be at below level 5. You can probably guess that the fans are not happy about the latest turn of events.

    I'd imagine the club that emerges from the ashes of Bury FC would still be based in Bury, if not Gigg Lane. Most likely will be FC Bury?
