Leeds United - v - WBA ***Matchday Thread***

Leeds' Adam Forshaw is likely to miss the visit of leaders West Brom after aggravating the hip injury that previously sidelined him for a month.

Forshaw, who returned in Saturday's defeat by Charlton, is expected to join the recovering Pablo Hernandez on the physio's table.

Slaven Bilic is unlikely to make many changes to his unbeaten West Brom side.

Youngster Grady Diangana was preferred against QPR but the more experienced Filip Krovinovic may be recalled.

Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs are closing in on returns from ankle injuries and fellow Baggies defender Conor Townsend is said to be making progress following a nerve problem in his back.

    Match facts:

Leeds United have only lost one of their past 10 home league matches against West Brom (W6 D3 L1), losing 3-2 under Dennis Wise in January 2007.

West Bromwich Albion's 4-0 defeat away at Leeds last season was their heaviest league defeat outside the top-flight since February 2000, when they lost 6-0 to Sheffield United.

Leeds have won just one of their past six home league games (D3 L2), beating Brentford 1-0 in August.

West Brom are the only unbeaten side in the Championship this season (W5 D4). They have never remained undefeated in their opening 10 games to a league campaign before.

No Championship side has scored fewer home league goals this season than Leeds (three, level with Huddersfield).

    2 - 0.

Ye just feel so deflated when Bamf and Harrison are named to start.. and the game hasn't even kicked off. These 2 have been failing for the last 7-8 footballing months and still they start. I was horrified when we resigned Harrison for another season.

Think they may start yet again, just don't know how long it takes for bielsa to say enough is enough, hopefully not when we're mid table and really struggling.

Major concerns for me. Terrible home record at present. No Hernandez. And WBA's ability to continually win games late in proceedings. Need to really lift here to give everyone' s confidence a reboot..

Time for 1 or 2 to 'man up' and get us a win..Bamford is shirley due to score..a bit early to say this but it does kinda have a must win feel to it..the Rev is needing some good vibrations..but this is our hardest game thus far.

Big game tonight. Prefer to see Nketiah start and hoping that Costa plays to his potential as he was lacklustre at Charlton, less so in the second half. Can’t see West Brom defending so it should be a top encounter.

The test for me isn’t so much about how we stack up against another favourite for autos in West Brom, it’s if we are getting any nearer to converting the extraordinary number of chances we shall no doubt create into goals.

Costa has really only had the one full game so far to early to assess or compare him to say Harrison - who has played every game thus far, Nketiah needs minutes on the pitch. Given Pablo and Foreshaw are both out it could be an opportunity to play one less in midfielder and one extra up top?

    Fingers crossed ....
