    I remember Spurs losing 7 -2 once before .....

    ........... and I was there on the Turf for the last game of the season. Around April 1962 or 63 without googling.
    I can't remember much except that Greaves scored for Spurs.
    Them wert days !!!!!!

    April 1964 edlea. My dad took me to this game my very first match at Turf Moor. The weather I recall was horrendous or did I dream all that rain! Jimmy Greaves scored both Spurs goals but Burnley ran riot on a night Sammy Todd made his debut.

    O'Neil scored two worldies in that game....the best midfielder I have ever seen in claret and blue.

    I was there as a spotty 13 year old.. I was also at Ewood Park when Rovers beat them 7-2 as well..

    I remember that game, I have this idea I was on the Bee Hole End, and if so it wouldn't have been sheeting down, but I could well be wrong about that, it's a long time ago.

    Slightly off topic but I can remember Spurs beating Crewe 13-2 in a Cup game sometime in the early 60s I think, I can remember it because there were photos in the papers of the Crewe team arriving at Euston station on platform 13, and then departing back to Crewe from platform 2, or it could have been the other way round.
