How often do we see this.

A team who raises their game against Leeds, gets beat in their next game.
    Charlton's turn tonight.

Shows what we're up against Billy. The task we have to get to the promised land is much harder than others. They're mostly all smaller clubs in the c'ship so were they're cup final. That on top of clearly biased officials and the EFL agenda makes it tougher than it should be and I fear we'll be the ones to lose out again. I don't think Swansea will be involved after Xmas.

Be careful paranoia doesn't set in chaps.
Looking at the stats - it was pretty much 50 / 50 last night - so Charlton actually played a better game against the Swans - our 72% possession didn't yield a goal - but should have, their goal was a bit of a fluke...

I think the points dropped so far have been down to us missing the dozens of chances rather than the opposition raising their game!

Still only conceded 5 goals after all.

Agree Tichi - also the fact other teams raise their game when they play us will help if we get to the prem as teams will have been playing above themselves.

It was ever thus though and the challenge is having players who can cope with that and the expectations of the crowd.
