Thread: Ok, I'll say it.....

    Ok, I'll say it.....

Artificial pitches should not be allowed in the Football League...and no, it's not an excuse for last nights' performance.

The more i think about last night, the more i tend to agree with you. Maybe the reason why Nielsen was so quiet and the effort really wasnt there!

Thing is though, what happens in the same fixture Q3 if we need to win to stay in touch or get ahead?

Totally agree , last night and last week at the dundee game , the ball was bouncing about with side spin ,back spin and top spin , okay some say it’s the same for both teams ,but doesn’t matter it’s impossible to predict some of they bounces
, pitches should be grass only

How can it be the same for both teams? There are so many versions of astro that even teams who play on one version, struggle on another. Then there is a difference as to whether teams water their pitch and when.

So much anti astro feeling around, the astro was dry and it held up, they are PROFESSIONALs if they can't adapt their passing to the conditions then they should consider flipping burgers!

Let's not forget that Ayr played on this pitch and won 4-1 just a couple of weeks ago, 3-0 up after 20 minutes.

Totally agree, plastic pitches and teams beginning with an A should be banned.

The debate is more general than the odd result. Do you think astro pitches are OK at our level of football?
