I am willing to take the twist and turns like today, but the lack of effort right through the team last night should not be excused!

It's a mix of both, if playing like that we should still have enough about us to dig in and not lose to Alloa

We are fortunate in a way to remain top simply because we played the night before and missed our opportunity and then the opportunity was their for Ayr who have not taken it, but not fortunate to be top as we have the best record after 8 games but it's allowed ICT and the fun to narrow things to us and Ayr

Fortnight to address things and get ready for an important run of games

100%.... There will be "blips" there will be "bumps" there will be "disappointments" along the way, we all understand that and will continually back the team. ................... BUT ................. last night was an absolute disgrace considering what was at stake. It is fine pumping teams when things are going well, but it's better to dig out results when they really matter.

We are far from the finished article as most teams now know. I fear we have lots of reasonable players in the team but when everyone has to stand up and be counted we just ain't got it>

Our players mentality has to be questioned. The attitude last night was not that of players that are trying to win a league. There seems to be an air of complacency setting in to the players and that is not what wins leagues. Main thing is that we learn and we go again. No point on dwelling on the past as it can't be changed. Hopefully the players and manager feel as relieved as the fans do and won't be as pedestrian in the next game. This season is one where we have to take it a game at a time....but we can't afford many more slip ups. We want to be putting some space between us and the rest of the teams....Ayr may not have taken advantage of our result but Inverness and Dundee both did. These are the 4 teams that will be challenging for top spot and we can't afford to lose ground to any of them.

The manager should be preventing that complacency from setting in....

disastrous result, Inverness and Dundee both gained on us, psychologically a massive boost to all the other teams watching that performance. On current form a few teams will be catching up with us in the next month or so.

    This.

Definitely not a get out of jail card. ICT are the form team in league and are now only 2 points off us. Massive **** up.
