    Costa

After a handful of appearances as sub, now started the last few matches, but like so many players who join the club, looks & plays a shadow of the player from last couple of seasons with Wolves.
Yeh, we seen the odd glimpse of skill & class, but on evidence so far, paying the 10-12 mill fee at end of season - huge gamble. Fingers crossed he really starts to show the real Costa, otherwise its looking like another Douglas situation - steady, but not what we expected.

My guess is he is not 100% match fit..but he was poor yesterday from what I saw..hoping for a big improvement after the international break.

He did well against WBA, not so good yesteday, needs some time (see uf he can out perform Harrisin with the same game time). At least he's being given some time to show his worth, wish Eddie was given similar pportunity.

I'm afraid that Costa isn't the Messiah that some people thought he would be. Not much better that Harrison and arguably worse since at least Harrison has a high work rate (albeit usually negated by a shocking final ball).

It makes the failure to sign Daniel James seem more annoying now.

Come on, give him some credit! Harrison has played game after game after f00king game. To have any realistic prospect of knowing which is best, you'd have to start Costa every game between now and Christmas, that make a comparison.

Do I wish we had signed James, yes, but we didn't and Costa may come good.

Got more faith in Costa coming good and providing assists and goals than either Harrison or bamford unfortunately.

Harrison is 22 so still some improvement was well rated buy Citeh and Viera when at New York City. Costa at 25 should be nearer top of his game but has had a bad injury. Both have pros and cons, in a season of some 50 games, both will get enough chances, never understand all this nit picking of formations. We have what we have, godd, bad and indifferent.. we don't have an open cheque book.

And overall its going fairly well, we play great football, big crowds, and will be there or thereabouts again, deffo improving albeit too slow for some.
