The player got past Berardi but he didn't try to bring him down so I know he's a headless chicken sometimes but not this time.
Watch the clip from all angles, it was neither.

    Here's the rule:

Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off.

.................. don't suppose that abysmal decision on 14 minutes will get a coach load of 56 a full refund of about 11200€ for our trip over to The Den or refunds for the many others making the trip from all corners of the U.K. either.

As usual when in London at Charlton,Millwall we got nothing from officials and probably will get nothing from Brentford,Fulham,QPR or Luton either when back in London town.

I noted Saturday YEP fan comments - (particularly those from Marley) so letters been dispatched to Referees Association & EFL over matters which I observed.

Reading various opinions nobody appears to mention the torrent of filthy verbal abuse all game aimed at our 'young' bench on Saturday and the hostile threatening abuse which was also inflicted upon the fourth official - nothing short of a disgrace but that's The Den for you today which appears now to be acceptable behaviour.

1st time I've seen that close up. It was even a penalty, the guy dived Berardi literally didn't touch him. Cheating ba stards. That's why we'll not get out of the c'ship.

Bamford got a retrospective ban exactly the same thing, identical. Will the EFL act? Don't hold you're breath.
