Thread: Reserves today

    Reserves today

We have named an incredibly strong team in the reserves to face St Mirren today...but Sloth nowhere to be seen and only five subs of which one is a trialist.

No doubt the international break a factor but it still seems odd.

    2-2

Double from Long, the second of which was a good hit but our gk dropped a howler to gift an equaliser with virtually the last kick.

The continued absence of Sloth is concerning. Club needs to offer some sort of clarity as to what's what with him.

A bit like Gorrin maybe? He's signed a 2 yera deal so there's quite some left for him to make his mark at Fir Park.

Maybe, it's all just guessing. But Gorrin - iirc - got a a chance in the team then played in the reserves to get up to speed until being recalled. Sloth has barely seen a first team shirt and frequently doesn't even play in the reserves. Unless he has totally gone to pot, there's no way a former Danish international can't play at that level...indeed, in the reserve game the other week when he played and scored he looked totally fine. No doubt all will be revealed...eventually.

Aye .. Gorrin festered reserves and when made debut with 6 months remaining his contract, all realised we had player and he made his escape for FREE summer 2018 whilst we had to suffer Rose and McHugh in midfield. I actually think we’ve signed a ghost as never seen dugout or stands watching home games.
