    One good thing

From yesterdays win against Man U.It was a full house,we won,a local lad scored. All ticks for Ashley.
Now the good thing,on the back of all that is we will have 2 weeks peace until Chelsea with no more fakeover news. Its not needed to fool the gullible masses. They have a win to enjoy.

    All ticks indeed Geordie.

Dont get me wrong, absolutely delighted with that yesterday, and I will give SB and the young Scholes credit where its due, however...

For me to buy into this I need more than two 1-0 wins against teams not just struggling for form but fair to say going under in full panic mode.

I'm torn between being made up for the lads and distain for the ownership. Quite sad really, but these results should be the norm for us and not just the exception which I fear it is.

If this becomes the norm then we will simply be handicapped with all performers being sold on and replaced with unproven players at seasons end.

This has been the case for 13 years - we show signs of going up a level and get brought back down with no investment, players sold on or a world class manager not being backed financially or retained.

We have been standing still, even going backwards all these seasons.

    Dont forget that.

All the half price tickets in the world won't change these facts and just paper over the cracks.

    Still, well done.

    Ashley out.
